Project Exclusions & Variables
To keep our baseline square-metre rates as competitive as possible, all earthworks, site preparation, acid washing, and protective clear sealing are excluded from the table above. These services are quoted separately based on your specific block conditions, site slope, and chosen finish treatments.
Payment Terms & Booking Security
To secure your position on our schedule and guarantee material pricing, we operate under strict, transparent commercial payment terms:

Booking Deposit: 50% of the total quoted project value must be paid prior to commencement.

Final Payment: The remaining 50% balance is due strictly upon completion of all works.

Important Scheduling Notice: All deposits need to be paid in full 2 weeks prior to our scheduled start date. This 14-day window locks in your material supply allocations, guarantees our specialized trade labour, and finalizes all concrete supplier dispatch bookings.
Concrete Pump Surcharges
Our standard square-metre rates assume direct access where the concrete agitator truck can back straight up to the formwork layout. If your property has tight access, narrow side paths, or requires moving concrete over obstacles, a dedicated line or boom pump will be required.

Concrete Pump Hire: Usually starts from $900 + GST (quoted depending on the required line length and setup complexity).
Important Note on Concrete Crossovers
A street crossover is much more complex than a standard flat backyard concrete pad. Our starting rate of $2,800 accounts for the intensive technical work required to meet strict local municipal guidelines.
Crossovers demand precise handling of engineering variables, including:

Managing exact angled falls and levels to prevent street water pooling

Ensuring proper expansion and control joints (j-points) to withstand heavy vehicle transitions

Meeting the minimum layout rules of 3m wide x 3m deep plus the angled splays (wings) at the kerb line

Executing a build that is fully compliant with council specifications to guarantee a pass on asset inspection
Because every local government (e.g., City of Stirling, Canning, Joondalup) has different reinforcement and depth rules, we handle all the engineering layouts to make the physical construction completely stress-free.
Please note: The customer must have formal council approval secured prior to the start of construction.
